Dude this is excellent. You should be proud.

I love this, the melody is outstandingly good.

production-wise, there are a few parts where it clips so you might want to go back and get those little blips out, but I have full confidence you'll do it :)

This is absolutely breathtaking nonetheless!

I think you should extend it, make a 6 min version ;) That would so totally be the shit.

F-777 responds:

That means a lot coming from you man =).
Ya im making a longer version already.

Thanks so much!!
(I will fix the parts it clips at)

much better!

I like this a lot :) great work.

your basslines are starting to sound much cleaner, and your kick is definitely standing out better in your tracks :)

melodies are pretty similar in your songs, but I think this one is just cool. very laid back, has a lot of energy.

keep it up

MrFijiWiji responds:

haha yes i agree similar melodies... this was really just like the improved version of Novocaine :)

great work

awesome track! no complaints

Sirdangolot5 responds:

Thanks man. From you that means a whole lot :D

nice

the chord progression is very nice, love the laid back style you have going here.

build up was a bit boring in the beginning but quickly picks up nicely. for your first song containing pads, you pulled them off quite well.

percussion was a bit too simple for my taste, but I think that's something that comes with practice.

anyways, voted 5 and here's my score.

Bawwww

another nine D:<

Thanks anyways man! :D

nice improvements :)

I already reviewed this before I think, but this one seems more engaging than the last one. mixing is pretty damn solid. It seems like the song could use some more energy, or change. it does kinda go on for a while with the same overall feel....but I suppose that was the style you were going after.

after seeing the absolute crap that somehow managed to take up four spots on best of the week this week, I'll say that you deserve a 10. (I would rate 9, but in comparison with the rest of the shit topping all the good submissions, you deserve 100/10 imo)

Sirdangolot5 responds:

ahaha, thanks man :D

nice!

great work with the main synth in there, loved all the different things you were able to do with it. sounded awesome.

a bit repetitive, but that might just be the style of the track.

I've been listening to you progress ever since you added me on msn, and I gotta say....dude you have improved a LOT. and in a short span of time too. =)

keep it up, I seriously am interested to know where your style is heading.

5/5 10/10

Sirdangolot5 responds:

Thanks, man. You've been my inspiration from super-early on, and I can really only hope to achieve your level of success!

keep going, don't let life slow you down

Good work on this song, you are definitely improving.

If your music is what you do, DO IT MAN. Don't let other people tell you otherwise. People who see you enjoying something and succeeding at it will often try to discourage it and make it seem like something horrible or unnecessary.

To that I say one thing: prove them wrong. Your brother should be nothing but proud of your achievements.

about the song itself, I think that it is much improved from your previous works. you did a good job on the variation at the beginning, I love the glitching you did on the bass/kick. the lead was very nice, good work on the chords for that. your mastering is improving as well :)

keep at this dude. I'm sure that at some point, it will pay off for you and your brother will finally realize how good it truly is.

thnx i thought i really improved too.. my mixes are much cleaner now i think... thnx to help from you :D

for a beginners beat...

not bad at all. :)

you seem to already have a good concept filters and beat structure. My recommendation is to try to develop a better melody you can put this to. also, try to put more variation into your percussion.

what synth are you using? from what I can hear, sounds like sytrus, but I could be wrong.

keep experimenting! you'll be sure to improve as long as you practice.

I'd rate this a 6, but I'll give you a 7 for your effort. let me know if you have any other songs in the future, I'll see about reviewing them as well :)

cool stuff =)

has a good melody, lots of potential in this track, enough that I think I'll take the time to remix it ;)

great work with the filters, you did well with the variation in this too.

cons: some of the notes are a little out of place at times, and don't really fit in the song all that well, and your kick is kinda weak.

pros: lots of improvement here, sounds like your put more effort into this track. Not much else I didn't already say at the top of this post. ^

I'd give it an 9/10, 5/5

keep up the improvement!

Sirdangolot5 responds:

You were 90% of the inspiration for this song, so I'm really glad you reviewed and that you're gonna remix it in your old style! Track of the year, anyone? XD

Nice Work!

Sounds great for a cinematic score, I'd say. Melody is pretty decent, love the overall vibe - it really does give you a feeling like you are setting out across some great distance.

Unfortunate score you have here.... :( Newgrounds rating system at its very best.

I'll vote 5... managed to bring it up to 3.40 / 5.00 (+ 0.82)
